The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart haben im Rahmen einer Daytrotter-Session die Songs „Belong“, „Come Saturday“, „Heart In Your Heartbreak“, „I Gonna Go All The Way“ live im Studio „The Horseshack“ aufgenommen.
Gegen Registrierung kann man sich die Songs kostenlos herunterladen.
Es loht sich übrigens auch mal im Daytrotter-Archiv zu stöbern, dort finden sich noch mehr musikalische Perlen, wie Ian McCulloch, The National oder Love Is All (da findet aber bestimmt jeder seine persönlichen Favoriten).
„Belong“ is the second single to be taken from the album and it’s a huge, in your face pop tune. Based around a massive guitar riff and booming drums, „Belong“ is a perfect example of how well the band’s partnership with their new production team worked. It’s pure Pains all the way, but bolder, louder and more confident.
